Kimmi originally started her yoga practice while working six days a week as a music therapist, traveling between multiple facilities across South Florida. While the work was rewarding, it could also be quite draining, highlighting for her the importance of self-care when helping others.

Kimmi turned to yoga as a way to slow down and find calmness amidst everyday chaos. Her favorite aspect of the practice is the connection between breath, body, and mind.

Looking to expand her practice and share yoga with others, Kimmi completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2020. She has also completed continuing education in Yin yoga, Restorative yoga, Mat Pilates, and sound healing therapy.

After moving to Northern Virginia in 2021, Kimmi has dedicated her time to teaching both music and yoga. She loves working with people from all walks of life and believes it is never too early or too late to try something new. Accessibility is her top priority in her classes, and she is driven by creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone.
