Release, Restore, Relax

Simple stretches, lovingly low holds in restorative postures, and a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra practice.

Soften and settle in

This class is the perfect antidote to your long week. Surrounded by the soft glow of candles, we’ll begin with 25 minutes of gentle stretching, and simple posture exploration, giving your body a chance to release tension. We’ll then move into 30 minutes of restorative Yoga, where we cradle the body with props and settle in for longer holds, encouraging the body to restore itself. We’ll finish out with a 10-15 minute Yoga Nidra practice, giving the body and spirit a chance to deeply relax. After Yoga Nidra, you’ll be gently awakened by healing sound instruments, such as a gong, Tibetan singing bowl, or the simple tongue drum. This class is designed to support both the physical and emotional body, giving both the chance to release, restore and relax.

*Please note, if you take this class virtually, the healing sound instruments do not come through to zoom.
