Hi everyone! Thank you so much for reading this. I am so excited to share my yoga journey with you. I first walked into a yoga studio while living in Vero Beach, Florida back in 2014. As a complete novice, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but the teacher made me feel comfortable and I began a consistent practice. Soon after, I moved to Ashburn, VA and found local studio offerings and continued to foster a love of not only the physical practice of yoga but the philosophy. I took this love and thirst to learn more further to complete my 200-hour teacher training in 2017. I began teaching gentle, yin and restorative yoga shortly thereafter. I have subsequently completed further yin and restorative yoga trainings under both Denyse Debels-Peterson and Gretchen Schutte.

I believe in the healing nature of the practices of yoga and I love being able to hold space for others to cultivate their own practice. I am always a student and love to learn new information about how yoga can assist in living with anxiety and chronic pain. I enjoy learning about nutritional science and the healing properties of food.

I am a prenatal genetic counselor currently doing all telemedicine, seeing patients from home. I enjoy being outside anytime I can and am a self-proclaimed gym rat! I am blessed to have all of my immediate family living nearby and have two amazing nephews.

I look forward to having you in class.
